Spain-based company Iberdrola’s IT hiring rose 1.1% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3.63% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed an 8.82% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.81% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Iberdrola IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Iberdrola, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 60.61% in September 2021, and a 53.85% rise over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 30.3% in September 2021, and registered growth of 150%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.06% in September 2021, an 85.71% drop from August 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Iberdrola
North America emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 48.48% share, which marked a 27.27% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 30.3%, registering a 100% month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 15.15% share and a flat growth over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 6.06% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 48.48% share in September 2021, a 27.27% decline over August 2021. The UK featured next with a 21.21% share, up 75% over the previous month.
Junior Level jobs lead Iberdrola IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.58%, up by 35.71% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 39.39% share, a decline of 27.78% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.03% share, flat growth over August 2021.
