Italy’s power industry IT recruitment activity rises 1.8% in September 2021

Italy’s power industry registered a 1.8% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.8% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 16.26% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 2.34% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Italy’s power industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy’s power industry in September 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 86.96% in September 2021, registering a 300% flat growth over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 4.35% share, a decrease of 83.33% over the previous month.

3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 4.35%, registering a flat growth from August 2021.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 4.35%, down 75% over the previous month.

Top five power companies in Italy’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 31.25% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy’s power industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

Enel posted 12 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 9.09% over the previous month, followed by Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulista with 4 jobs and a flat growth. Falck Renewables with 2 IT jobs and Siemens with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 100% flat growth, respectively, while Acea recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during September 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.87%, down by 22.22% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 30.43% share, registered an increase of 250% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.7% share, flat growth over August 2021.
