Itron’s IT hiring activity declines 2.5% in September 2021

US-based company Itron’s IT hiring declined 2.5% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.48% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 37.86% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 1.28% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Itron IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Itron, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 46.43% in September 2021, and an 18.18% rise over August 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 17.86% in September 2021, and registered flat growth. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.29% in September 2021, a 20% drop from August 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Itron

North America emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 46.43% share, which marked a 13.33% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 35.71%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 17.86% share and a flat growth over August 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 46.43% share in September 2021, a 13.33% decline over August 2021. Hungary featured next with a 32.14% share, up 80% over the previous month. India recorded a 17.86% share, an increase of 25% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Itron IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.29%, up by 50% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.43% share, a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.29% share, down 60% over August 2021.
