Out of the total IT job titles posted by Itron, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.82% in July 2021, and a 42.86% growth over June 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 11.76% in July 2021, and registered a 33.33% decline. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.76% in July 2021, a flat growth from June 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Itron

North America emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 58.82% share, which marked a 400% growth over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 29.41%, registering a 25% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11.76% share and a 66.67% drop over June 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 58.82% share in July 2021, a 400% growth over June 2021. Hungary featured next with a 29.41% share, up 25% over the previous month.India recorded a 5.88% share, decline of 80% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Itron IT hiring activity in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.94%, up by 28.57% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 29.41% share, a growth of 150% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 17.65% share, flat growth over June 2021.
