North America emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 40% share, which marked a 23.08% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 36%, registering a 10% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 24% share and a 20% rise over September 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 40% share in October 2021, a 23.08% decline over September 2021. Hungary featured next with a 36% share, flat growth over the previous month. India recorded a 24% share, an increase of 20% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Itron IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52%, down by 27.78% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 28% share, a growth of 75% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 20% share, down 16.67% over September 2021.
