Netherlands’s power industry IT recruitment activity rises 33.0% in July 2022

Netherlands power industry registered a 33.0% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 30.81% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 11.5% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.48% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Netherlands power industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands power industry in July 2022.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 37.5% in July 2022, registering a 260% growth over the previous month.

2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 35.42% share, an increase of 142.86% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 16.67%, registering a 166.67% rise from June 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 8.33%, up 300% over the previous month.

Top five power companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 366.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands power industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

TenneT Holding posted 26 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 8 jobs and a 60% growth. Vattenfall with 3 IT jobs and Engie with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while Vestas Wind Systems recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.58%, up by 138.46% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.75% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 16.67% share, up 700% over June 2022.
