The industry’s overall hiring increased by 30.81% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 11.5% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.48% over the last three-month average share.

TenneT Holding posted 26 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 8 jobs and a 60% growth. Vattenfall with 3 IT jobs and Engie with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while Vestas Wind Systems recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.58%, up by 138.46% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.75% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 16.67% share, up 700% over June 2022.
