The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 67.86% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Portugal’s power industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Vestas Wind Systems posted 27 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 92.86% over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 10 jobs and a 25% growth. Nordex with 6 IT jobs and Energias de Portugal with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a 25% decrease, respectively, while Voltalia recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 82.98%, up by 105.26% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.77% share, registered a decline of 14.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.26% share, flat growth over June 2022.
