France-based company Schneider Electric’s IT hiring rose 4.7% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.68% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 16.8% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.26% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Schneider Electric IT hiring in February 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Schneider Electric, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.5% in February 2022, and a 25% rise over January 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 11.76% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 29.03%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.7% in February 2022, a 25% rise from January 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Schneider Electric

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 49.73% share, which marked a 72.22% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 35.29%, registering a 10.81% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 14.97% share and a flat growth over January 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 39.04% share in February 2022, a 128.13% growth over January 2022. US featured next with a 33.69% share, up 8.62% over the previous month. Philippines recorded a 5.88% share, a decline of 38.89% compared with January 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Schneider Electric IT hiring activity in February 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.29%, up by 10.1% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.06% share, a growth of 36.36% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 17.65% share, up 32% over January 2022.
