The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.96% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 14.61% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.93% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Schneider Electric IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Schneider Electric, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.88% in October 2021, and a 20.73% rise over September 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 12.5% in October 2021, and registered growth of 53.85%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.63% in October 2021, a 41.67% rise from September 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Schneider Electric
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 40.63% share, which marked a 27.45% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 35%, registering a 1.82% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 20.63% share and a 37.5% rise over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.88% and a month-on-month increase of 50%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.88%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 36.25% share in October 2021, a 34.88% growth over September 2021. US featured next with a 31.88% share, down 3.77% over the previous month. France recorded a 7.5% share, an increase of 140% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Schneider Electric IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.25%, up by 13.98% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 20.63% share, a growth of 22.22% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.5% share, up 66.67% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.63%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
