Germany-based company Siemens Energy ’s IT hiring rose 26.5% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 26.9% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 9.43% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a flat growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Siemens Energy IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Siemens Energy, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 46.88% in September 2022, and a 61.54% drop over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 32.81% in September 2022, and registered a decline of 43.24%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 12.5% in September 2022, a 20% drop from August 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Siemens Energy
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 54.69% share, which marked a 57.83% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 28.13%, registering a 67.27% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 14.06% share and a 55% drop over August 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.13% and a month-on-month flat growth.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 21.88% share in September 2022, a 39.13% decline over August 2022. India featured next with a 20.31% share, down 68.29% over the previous month. Romania recorded a 14.06% share, a decline of 74.29% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Siemens Energy IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75%, down by 58.97% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.75% share, a decline of 68.42% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.25% share, down 42.86% over August 2022.
