The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 8.26% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.75% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.27% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Siemens IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Siemens, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 83.82% in May 2022, and a 0.87% drop over April 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 5.88% in May 2022, and registered a decline of 48.39%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 3.68% in May 2022, a 56.52% drop from April 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 53.68% share, which marked a 5.81% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 22.79%, registering a 35.42% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 21.69% share and a 1.72% rise over April 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.1% and a month-on-month increase of 200%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.74%, registering a 66.67% drop over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 40.81% share in May 2022, a 14.62% decline over April 2022. US featured next with a 19.12% share, up 1.96% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 6.25% share, a decline of 32% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Siemens IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.07%, down by 11.06% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.37% share, a decline of 22.47% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.56% share, down 7.14% over April 2022.
