Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Siemens

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 40.51% share, which marked a 16.79% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 34.18%, registering a 2.27% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 22.78% share and a flat growth over November 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.28% and a month-on-month decline of 18.18%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.25%, registering a 50% drop over the previous month.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 31.39% share in December 2021, a 29.17% growth over November 2021. US featured next with a 21.27% share, up 6.33% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 12.66% share, an increase of 31.58% compared with November 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Siemens IT hiring activity in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.49%, up by 5.38% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.81% share, a growth of 6.52% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.44% share, up 7.02% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.25%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
