
Spain’s power industry registered a 17.7% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 11.11% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 11.08% share in September 2022, recording an increase of 1.19% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s power industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s power industry in September 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 57.45% in September 2022, registering a 42.11% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 21.28% share, an increase of 400% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.89%, registering a 16.67% rise from August 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 6.38%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five power companies in Spain’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 53.85% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s power industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Enel posted 22 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a drop of 8.33% over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 7 jobs and a 600% growth. Holaluz Clidom with 5 IT jobs and Iberdrola with 4 jobs, recorded a 400% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Elektro Eletricidade E Servicos recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.7%, up by 3.57% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.66% share, registered an increase of 225% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.64% share, flat growth over August 2022.
