Spain’s power industry registered a 2.5% rise in IT hiring activity in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.4% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.51% share in April 2022, recording an increase of 1.59% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s power industry’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s power industry in April 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 73.17% in April 2022, registering a 21.05% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 9.76% share, a decrease of 42.86% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 4.88%, registering a 100% rise from March 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 4.88%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five power companies in Spain’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 16.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s power industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
Enel posted 14 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a drop of 22.22% over the previous month, followed by Holaluz Clidom with 9 jobs and a 30.77% drop. Siemens with 9 IT jobs and Nordex with 6 jobs, recorded an 18.18% decline and a 20% flat growth, respectively, while Vestas Wind Systems recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.49%, down by 10.81% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.2% share, registered a decline of 37.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.32% share, down 40% over March 2022.
