The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.86% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 8.4% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 1.38% growth over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops The ERM Group IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by The ERM Group, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 86.36% in May 2022, and a flat growth over April 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 4.55% in May 2022, and registered flat growth. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 4.55% in May 2022, a flat growth from April 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at The ERM Group
North America emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 59.09% share, which marked an 85.71% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 22.73%, registering a 28.57% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 18.18% share and a 33.33% drop over April 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 59.09% share in May 2022, an 85.71% growth over April 2022. The UK featured next with a 13.64% share, down 57.14% over the previous month.
Senior jobs lead The ERM Group IT hiring activity in May 2022
Senior jobs held a share of 77.27%, flat growth from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 9.09% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Junior Level job ads with 9.09% share, down 33.33% over April 2022, while Mid Level postings accounted for 4.55%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
