Denmark-based company Vestas Wind Systems IT hiring rose 7.9% in January 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.57% in January 2022 when compared with December 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 7.18% share in the company’s total hiring activity in January 2022, and recorded a 0.14% decline over the last three-month average share.

 

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Vestas Wind Systems IT hiring in January 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Vestas Wind Systems, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 53.13% in January 2022, and a 10.87% rise over December 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 15.63% in January 2022, and registered growth of 7.14%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.63% in January 2022, a 15.38% rise from December 2022.

 

Europe drives IT hiring at Vestas Wind Systems

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in January 2022 with a 77.08% share, which marked a 15.63% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 19.79%, registering an 11.76% month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 2.08% share and a flat growth over December 2022.

In the fourth place was North America with a share of 1.04% and a month-on-month flat growth.

Denmark commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 36.46% share in January 2022, a 9.38% growth over December 2022. Portugal featured next with a 26.04% share, up 19.05% over the previous month. India recorded a 12.5% share, an increase of 20% compared with December 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Vestas Wind Systems IT hiring activity in January 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.46%, up by 22.92% from December 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.92% share, a growth of 22.22% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.63% share, down 16.67% over December 2022.
