Akinci is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project are 108.5m and 106.24m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 3 in number. The penstock length is 216m. The penstock diameter is 3m. The project generated 448.24 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $292.797m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 34.24MW nameplate capacity.
