Description

The project was developed by Green Watts Renewable Energy and is currently owned by Alcazar Energy with a stake of 100%.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households, offsetting 160,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $186.4m.

The project has 80m high towers.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to National Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors Involved

Elecnor and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 41 units of G114-2.1 MW turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 20 years.
