Al Wahda is a 240MW hydro power project. It is located on Uerga river/basin in Rabat-Sale-Kenitra, Morocco. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1997.

Description

The project was developed by Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy and Technopromexport. The project is currently owned by Office National de l’Electricite et de l’Eau Potable.

Al Wahda is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 3,730 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 61.8m. The project generated 543.8 GWh of electricity.
