Alcala de Guadaira Solar PV Plant is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 130 hectares.
The project generates 101GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 34,000 households, offsetting 72,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $15.17m.
The project got commissioned in December 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Centrica under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years.
OPDE Holding was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Risen Energy was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 135,090 modules each with 370W of nameplate capacity.
Gamesa Electric supplied 18 of its GAMESA E – 2.5MVA-SB-I inverters to the project site.
The mounting systems have been supplied by PV Hardware Solutions for the project.
OPDE Holding is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
