Description
The project is currently owned by Usina Alta Mogiana S.A. Acucar e Alcool with a stake of 100%.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 12.02t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 1 turbine with 4MW nameplate capacity.
