Description

The project was developed by Ventominho – Energias Renovaveis and is currently owned by Finerge Gestao de Projectos Energeticos.

The project generates 146,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 56,338t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The phase, Alto do Corisco (Alto do Corisco IA), has 64m high towers.

The phase, Alto do Corisco (Alto do Corisco IB), has 78m high towers.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in 2009.

Contractors Involved

Alto do Corisco (Alto do Corisco IA) is equipped with Enercon E-70 turbines. The phase consists of 5 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Alto do Corisco (Alto do Corisco IB) is equipped with Enercon E-82 E2 / 2,000 kW turbines. The phase consists of 28 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Alto do Corisco (Alto do Corisco II) is equipped with Enercon E-92 / 2,350 kW turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
