Andijan is a 190MW hydro power project. It is located on Karakadia river/basin in Andijon, Uzbekistan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1985.

Contractors Involved

Andijan (Andijan II) is equipped with China National Electric Engineering turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.

NPO Elsib supplied 4 electric generators for the Andijan (Andijan I). The generator capacity is 43.75 MVA.
