The project is being developed by Equinor, NV Nederlandse Gasunie, Royal Dutch Shell and RWE Renewables. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.
The project cost is expected to be around $1,222.5m.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2028. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2030.
