Description
The project was developed by SP Armow Wind Ontario. The project is co-owned by Pattern Energy Group and Samsung Renewable Energy, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 70,000 households, offsetting 596,300t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $442.941m.

The power generated from the project is sold to Independent Electricity System Operator under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2015. The contracted capacity is 180MW.
Contractors Involved
Black & McDonald and Wood Canada were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 91 units of SWT-2.3-101 turbines.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2015, for a period of 3 years.
The wind power project consists of 99.5m high towers supplied by CS Wind Canada.
