Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in Q1 2021 with 157 contracts and a 44.4% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 80 contracts and a 22.6% share and Electricity Procurement with 71 contracts and a 20.1% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Power Purchase Agreement: 53 contracts and a 74.6% share
  2. Project Implementation: 13 contracts and an 18.3% share
  3. Electricity Supply: five contracts and a 7% share.
