Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in February 2020 with 20 contracts and a 37.7% share, followed by Power Plant with 13 contracts and a 24.5% share and Electricity Procurement with eight contracts and a 15.1% share during the month.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 16 contracts and an 80% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 10% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 5% share
- Project Implementation: one contract and a 5% share.
