Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in Q3 2020 with 114 contracts and a 34.3% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 96 contracts and a 28.9% share and Electricity Procurement with 62 contracts and an 18.7% share during the quarter.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 77 contracts and an 80.2% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: ten contracts and a 10.4% share
- Project Implementation: nine contracts and a 9.4% share.
Wind is top technology for Asia-Pacific generation equipment contracts in Q3 2020
