Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in September 2020 with 39 contracts and a 33.1% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 29 contracts and a 24.6% share and Electricity Procurement with 28 contracts and a 23.7% share during the month.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 24 contracts and an 82.8% share
- Project Implementation: three contracts and a 10.3% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 6.9% share.
Solar is top technology for Asia-Pacific generation equipment contracts in September 2020
