Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in May 2022 with 61 contracts and a 47.7% share, followed by T&D Project with 28 contracts and a 21.9% share and Generation Equipment with 17 contracts and a 13.3% share during the month.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 48 contracts and a 78.7% share
  2. Power Purchase Agreement: five contracts and an 8.2% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: four contracts and a 6.6% share
  4. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: four contracts and a 6.6% share.
