Power Purchase Agreement with 12 contracts and a 38.7% share
Project Implementation: 11 contracts and a 35.5% share
Supply & Erection: six contracts and a 19.4% share
Electricity Supply: two contracts and a 6.5% share.

China tops Asia-Pacific solar power contracts activity

China was the top country in the Asia-Pacific region for solar technology contracts recorded in April 2021 with ten contracts and a 32.3% share, followed by India with four contracts and a 12.9% share and Australia with four contracts and a 12.9% share.

The top issuers of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Asia-Pacific were:

Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan): 200MW from one contract
Global Business Power (Philippines): 115MW from one contract
Canadian Solar (Canada) and Tohoku Electric Power (Japan): 100MW capacity from one contract.

The top winners of contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Asia-Pacific were:

Phanes Group (United Arab Emirates): 400MW from two contracts
China Energy Engineering (China): 215MW from two contracts
Juwi Shizen Energy (Japan) and Canadian Solar (Canada): 100MW capacity from one contract.
