T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in June 2021 with 53 tenders and a 32.1% share, followed by T&D Project with 34 tenders and a 20.6% share and Power Plant with 33 tenders and a 20% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 46 tenders and an 86.8% share
- Project Implementation: six tenders and an 11.3% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one tender and a 1.9% share.
Hydro is top technology for Asia-Pacific T&D equipment tenders in June 2021
Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, hydro accounted for two tenders with a 66.7% share, followed by thermal with one tender and a 33.3% share.
