T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in October 2019 with 302 tenders and a 51.4% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 113 tenders and a 19.2% share and Generation Equipment with 99 tenders and a 16.8% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 98 tenders and an 86.7% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 15 tenders and a 13.3% share.
Hydro is top technology for Asia-Pacific T&D equipment tenders in October 2019
Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, hydro accounted for eight tenders with an 88.9% share, followed by thermal with one tender and an 11.1% share.
