T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in September 2019 with 222 tenders and a 51.3% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 79 tenders and an 18.2% share and Generation Equipment with 65 tenders and a 15% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 67 tenders and an 84.8% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 12 tenders and a 15.2% share.

Thermal is top technology for Asia-Pacific T&D equipment tenders in September 2019

Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, thermal accounted for six tenders with a 54.5% share, followed by hydro with five tenders and a 45.5% share.
