T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in April 2022 with 48 tenders and a 58.5% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 25 tenders and a 30.5% share and Smart Grid with five tenders and a 6.1% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 44 tenders and a 91.7% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three tenders and a 6.3% share
  3. Project Implementation: one tender and a 2.1% share.

Thermal is top technology for Asia-Pacific T&D equipment tenders in April 2022

Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, thermal accounted for two tenders with a 100% share.
