Asia-Pacific T&D equipment tenders activity down 37% in November 2021

There were 46 T&D equipment tenders announced in the Asia-Pacific region in November 2021, marking a drop of 37% over the last 12-month average of 73, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in November 2021 with 46 tenders and a 36.5% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 27 tenders and a 21.4% share and Power Plant with 24 tenders and a 19% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

1. Supply & Erection: 43 tenders and a 93.5% share
2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two tenders and a 4.3% share
3. Consulting & Similar Services: one tender and a 2.2% share.
