T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in April 2021 with 45 tenders and a 34.1% share, followed by Power Plant with 40 tenders and a 30.3% share and T&D Project with 20 tenders and a 15.2% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 16 tenders and an 80% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: four tenders and a 20% share.

Solar is top technology for Asia-Pacific T&D project tenders in April 2021

Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, solar accounted for two tenders with a 50% share, followed by thermal with one tender and a 25% share and hydro with one tender and a 25% share.
