T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in Q1 2020 with 737 tenders and a 49.9% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 335 tenders and a 22.7% share and Power Plant with 193 tenders and a 13.1% share during the quarter.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 605 tenders and an 82.1% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 123 tenders and a 16.7% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: six tenders and a 0.8% share
  4. Supply & Erection: three tenders and a 0.4% share.
