The Aste 1B Concentrating Solar Power – Thermal Energy Storage System was developed by Aries Ingenieria Y Sistemas and Elecnor. The project is owned by Aries Ingenieria Y Sistemas (50%) and Elecnor (50%), a subsidiary of Cantiles XXI.

The key application of the project is renewables capacity firming, renewables energy time shift.
