Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Casaforte Energia.
The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 20,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $122.72m.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Companhia de Bebidas das Americas – AmBev under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
