Baiyinhua – Ximeng Line, China

Baiyinhua – Ximeng Line is a 500kV overhead line with a length of 206km from Baiyinhua Power Plant, Baiyinhua, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, to Ximeng Converter Station, Ximeng, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

The project, which is currently in the planning stage, is expected to be commissioned in 2023.

Description

Baiyinhua – Ximeng Line is an overhead line that will be operated by State Grid Corporation of China. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The construction works on the Baiyinhua – Ximeng Line project will be commenced in 2021 and commissioning is expected in 2023.

China Energy Engineering was appointed by State Grid Corporation of China to undertake the construction works on the Baiyinhua – Ximeng Line project.
