Bakaru is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 6.919 million cubic meter.

Contractors Involved
Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 63MW nameplate capacity.
