Description

The project was developed by SEPCO Electric Power Construction and is currently owned by Bharat Aluminium.

It is a steam turbine power plant. The fuel is procured from Gevra and Kusmunda mines of South Eastern Coalfields Ltd.

The project cost is $807.422m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution under a power purchase agreement for a period of 14 years. The contracted capacity is 200MW.
