The project is currently owned by Vietnam Electricity.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 1,800 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 46.41m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The project generated 1,084 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $317.501m.

SONGDA Construction and Investment was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.
Dongfang Electric was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 160MW nameplate capacity.
