The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Description

Bang Saphan II Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 500/230kV and the operating voltage level is 500/230kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 230kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 1000MVA.

The development of the Bang Saphan II Substation project was approved by Energy Regulatory Commission. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.

About Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand

Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) is a state-owned power utility. It generates, procures, transmits, and distributes electricity.
