Bara Bangahal is a 200MW hydro power project. It is planned on Ravi river/basin in Himachal Pradesh, India. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2021.

Description

The project is being developed by Malana Power. Bhilwara Energy and Statkraft are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Bara Bangahal is a run-of-river project. The project is expected to generate 800 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $302.211m.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2021.
