Axpo Power, Industrielle Werke Basel, Alpiq Holding, BKW Energie, Elektrizitatswerk der Stadt Zurich and Energie Wasser Bern are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 30%, 12.5%, 12.5%, 10%, 10% and 5% respectively.

The net head of the project is 887m. The project cost is $34.3m.

Contractors Involved

Rainpower was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of pelton turbines, each with 41.3MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy supplied electric generator(s) for the project.
