Beni Suef Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Egyptian Electricity Transmission.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 500/220kV and the operating voltage level is 500/220kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV.

Beni Suef Substation project development status

The development of the Beni Suef Substation project was approved by Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.
