The project is being developed and currently owned by Norsk Vind Energi. The company has a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to generate 990MWh electricity to offset 780,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $596.1m.
The wind power project consists of 50 turbines, each with 6MW nameplate capacity.
