Description

The project was developed by First Solar (Australia) and is currently owned by New Energy Solar with a stake of 100%.

Beryl Solar PV Park 1 is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 225 hectares.

The project generates 199,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 28,000 households, offsetting 183,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $138.67m.

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2019.

Contractors Involved

Downer EDI was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

LONGi Solar Technology was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.

The inverters were procured from Ingeteam Corporacion for the project.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Exosun.

First Solar (Australia) is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
